Marilyn Lau

Marilyn is a co-founder of Golden Pear Capital, where she focuses on operations and compliance. Before joining Golden Pear, Marilyn served as Chief Strategy Officer and Group Head of Global Operations for a large multinational corporation. During her tenure at this multibillion-dollar organization, she gained extensive experience in acquisition due diligence and business integrations. As Group Head of Operations, she was also responsible for finance & accounting, marketing, compliance, legal, IT, HR&A, and corporate & investor communications. Throughout her multi-decade career, Marilyn has earned a reputation as a great communicator with strong business acumen, driving results through hands-on operational implementation.

Marilyn graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. She also completed the Executive Leadership Program at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Marilyn is a qualified Chief Compliance Officer, certified by the Canadian Securities Institute.
